Paul Drey is a filmmaker working in France and Germany. After civil service in Thiès/ Senegal he studied Political Science in Maastricht, Izmir and Brussels. He then studied directing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH. His work ‚DAS ROTOHR‘ has won the Grand Prix and the Audience Award at Tampere Film Festival in 2023 and a Short Film Candidacy for the European Film Awards. The film was qualified for the 96th Oscars® 2024 in the category Documentary Short Film and was published by The New York Times Op-Docs.
